I have some Sauls in my life.
They mock Jesus.
They are angered by His name and His teachings.
They constantly try to find fault
in the Word of God.
They reject Him and look down on Christianity.
You probably have some as well…. but we know that God can take the Sauls of the world and turn them into Pauls.
I come boldly before God today and ask that Jesus would appear to them and ask them “Why are you persecuting me?”
I pray that they would hear from God that Jesus is the Lord.
I pray that the scales would fall off their eyes and they would finally see the truth.
That their hearts would soften and be ready to understand who Jesus is.
I pray that God would send believers into their lives so that they may see the Light of God’s Son and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
I pray that all of these ‘Sauls’ would be baptized into a new life, a life focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. That they would no longer persecute Him but live for Him. That they would have strength to go forth into the world and share their testimonies with boldness.
I pray that their strong opposition to Jesus would instead become fierce devotion.
I pray that they would go on to do great works in the name of Jesus and become powerful disciples.
We have seen God do it before and we know He can do it again.
Do it again, Lord!
Lord let those scales fall off.
Soften their hearts to Your truth.
Draw them in by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Speak to them now.
I ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus.
The name above all names.
Glorify yourself, Father.
