I will count it joy when things are not going my way. I will count it joy when prayers are not answered. I will count it joy when I am in the midst of a battle. I will count it all joy, not because of the circumstance but because of the change it brings with it. I will count it all joy because it will draw me closer to my God. I will count it all joy because it will lead me deeper in prayer. I will count it all joy because it teaches me more about Who is in control. I will count it all joy because I will grow stronger in my faith. I will count it all joy because God will be closer to me in my heartache. I will count it all joy, because I know something good will come from the storm. I will count it all joy because He will bring me through it all.
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”James 1:2-4
